Thanks very much for the great pictures and also the size comparison of the Methley plum! I want to purchase a plum tree reminiscent of my childhood, and without knowing the type, have been searching everywhere for the right one. Based on the descriptions I have been reading of Methley, I believed that was the one. Thanks to your pictures, description, and comparison, I have hit the jackpot! Now I know Methley is definitely the one! (I even googled “bite-size plum” and got nothing). You’re now on my Favorites list!
Do you have any pics of the flesh of this plum?

We didn’t make it out to a market this week because we’re heading out of town on Thursday and didn’t want to load up on the produce, but we had both a teeny watermelon in this week’s CSA box and a small canteloupe in the fridge from last week’s. Perfect for two. We cut up the canteloupe this morning and I think it might be the most delicious one I’ve ever had.

I got broccoli instead of kohlrahbi and have a potato, leek & cabbage soup in the crockpot right now! Seasoned with some thyme from the back garden, which is both new and awesome.

I love purslane, but I find it hard to describe. I also see your Clear Springs Farm Milk! It’s hard to rave about milk, but I love theirs!
