Leigh Hauter was the farmer and he was nothing but nice. He was always on time and very helpful. This share did not include fruit, as that would cost extra. I did however get farm fresh eggs every week, which were incredibly good and you could tell they were fresh from chicken.

I found that the variety was bit to be desired, as there was often a lot of the same, less “interesting” vegetables and the lettuce was often of poor quality. I understand the difficulty in farming and all the variables that can lead to problems or just the opposite, great produce. I chose not to continue with this CSA as I had moved and it was no longer convenient. I would recommend the share to someone who is looking to do their first CSA and wants to be challenged to cook things with whatever they get that week.
