According to their website, Rick Hood, the CSA’s founding farmer was awarded a Honorable Mention in the USDA’s Patrick Madden Award, in 2004. The program recognizes leaders in Sustainable Agriculture. In 2004 Rick graduated from Leadership Frederick County.
